Steven D. Fichtman, PLLC. - Attorney
Steven Fichtman was born in Flushing, New York and lived in Queens and Cedarhurst, NY before moving to Pinellas County where he graduated from High School. Upon graduation, he attended the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, a Bachelor of Science in Finance and he also minored in Economics. Steven earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005.
Attorney Fichtman has been practicing law in Citrus County since 2005 and started his own firm in 2018. Steven was determined to open his own firm, where he could provide the personalized service to all of his clients. His primary fields of practice are Real Estate Law, Landlord-Tenant Law, Civil Litigation and Estate Planning.
Steven personally returns all his phone message from clients and strives to provide each client with the individual service wanted in the most difficult time in their lives. When you become a client at the Law Office of Steven D. Fichtman, you are not a number and we strive to provide each client with the individual service they may need during one of the hardest times.
As a leader in the professional community Steven has served as President of the Citrus County Bar Association and Next Generation Professionals. Steven also served as chair of the Family Law Section of the Citrus County Bar Association from 2012 through 2016.
Steven was appointed by the Florida Supreme Court in 2018 is currently serving as chairman of the Florida Bar Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee for the 5th Judicial Circuit. Steven also currently serves on the local bench and bar committee.
Outside of the office, Steven enjoys spending time with his wife and his dog, “Trouble”. He likes outdoor activities such as fishing, gardening, and trap shooting. Steven is a big fan of the Florida Gators and tries to attend the home football games.
Angela M. Pochis - Legal Administrative Assistant

Angela began working as a receptionist in a local Citrus County law firm where she worked her way to becoming legal assistant to Steven D. Fichtman, Esquire. She is a licensed Florida State Notary and has a background in Real Estate Law and Estate Planning. Angela joined Mr. Fichtman as his assistant in July of 2018, with the opening of his new firm. As a legal administrative assistant, she is the clients’ primary point of contact for updates on the status of their cases and is responsible for assisting clients with moving their cases along efficiently.
Angela assists Attorney Fichtman in a variety of areas of law, including but not limited to Foreclosure Defense, Evictions and Estate Planning.
Angela is a Florida native from Citrus County, Florida. Outside of the firm, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She can often be found by her husband’s side cheering on their children while they participate in various sports activities. She also loves camping, fishing, hunting and traveling as often as possible.
